Be Yourself!

Never try to be anyone else other than yourself, the more that you’re yourself, the more that people will love you, focus on yourself and do what you love!! Everything will work in the long run even if it doesn’t seem quite like it, it will be tough but you can do it; I want you to stop being negative towards yourself, the world is cruel enough and will do that for you, so here’s what I want you to do!! Everyday when you wake up tell yourself 3 to 6 positive things about yourself, it doesn’t matter what it is, it can be something super simple like your teeth or your eyes, or even your freckles!! Another way is to stop pleasing others, I want you to please yourself, make yourself happy before others, the more you do this the happier you’ll be because you now know what to do to make yourself happy! This one really ties in to the title, be yourself, don’t worry about what other people think about you, if they don’t like you, that’s on them!! I want you to learn more about yourself, try new things you wouldn’t normally do, go out to different restaurants and try new foods, try new hobbies, and pick up a new skill!! We as humans are way to hard on ourselves, when something doesn’t go as planned we automatically blame ourselves and that’s okay but only for a short amount of time, if something negative happens, acknowledge it and forgive yourself for allowing that to happen even if it’s difficult. Last but not least, appreciate yourself, we don’t give ourselves enough credit oftentimes, we need to be proud of who we are, we are made perfect in Gods eyes, we need to show more appreciation towards ourselves!! Put God First

How many of you that read these silly blogs are Christians? Quite a few I’m guessing, something we all fail to do is putting God first in everything that we do, without God we are nothing! If you have a dream you must have a tremendous amount of faith and give all the glory to God whether you succeed and fail, God will not give his children more than they can handle. Being disabled I’ve found that insanely true, I’ve had obstacles in life whether it be mental or physical, God pulls me through every single time and he will do the same for you! You need to trust him, and know that he’s got your back in everything that you do!! Always put God first and you’ll succeed with anything that you wanna do in life, it doesn’t matter what it is, it could be literally anything in the world, if you put God first and work hard enough for it to come true and trust that he’s got your six, it’s bound to happen. I promise you, everything will fall into place once you let go and let God. I want you to try it, it might be scary at first to put all your faith in him, he won’t do you wrong though.

The value of helping others!!

Hey, I have a question? How often do you help others? Quite a bit am I right? Well, who’s there to help you when you need it most? Not too many people or nobody, right? That’s what’s wrong with people nowadays, a good majority of us are greedy and only want to do things that will benefit ourselves. We don’t help enough people nowadays, we only care about ourselves and that’s sad because we could honestly change the world if we put others first, we could take a hugeeeee chunk out of the mental health issues in today’s society. We feel like nobody is there for us, so we need to start giving and stop expecting things in return!! Here’s what I want you to do, something so simple, I want you to start by helping one person every single day and if you already help one person every single day or maybe you help more than one people, I want you to bump that number up. I promise it’ll be life-changing!! Together we can change the world!!

Make yourself happy

Often times we rely on others to make us happy, in order to be happy we must first make ourselves happy! When you rely on others to make you happy you will oftentimes be let down, maybe something gets in between the relationship or friendship, maybe y’all have a falling out and then you have to be alone and make yourself happy, which can be very difficult. You have to spend time alone in order to find something that makes you happy, once you do this a few times you’ll begin to realize how much happier you’ll become when you no longer have to rely on other people! Being disabled I go through this quite often and so do many other crippled people, don’t worry I can the crippled because I’m crippled haha. Being disabled you don’t have a whole lot of friends so you have to find out what makes you happy and when people come and go it isn’t that big of a deal, yes it might hurt when people leave or abandon you but you already know what to do to bring yourself back up to the top. I believe that’s a huge reason are so damn sad today, we rely on others way too much and need to work on ourselves. I want you to try to find out what makes you happy, do something that you love by yourself and make it fun, it’ll be tough at first but in the end, the outcome will be better!!

Be Persistent!!

Being persistent is the key to literally everything in life! You want money, be persistent and work hard! You want a promotion, work hard and be persistent in what you do and make the right moves to being persistent! You want the woman of your dreams, be persistent! You want to start a business, be persistent and take the steps necessary to get there! All of these CEO’s, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Oprah Winfrey, Steve Harvey and many more were insanely persistent and they worked harder than everybody else, because that’s what grows a business and company, just starting out is tough but if you’re dedicated enough and have enough persistence, you can literally accomplish much more than you freaking think!! Set all the BS aside and be persistent, have patience and work hard! This is literally the key to success in everything that you do in life, things might be tougher than normal and that’s when you have to dig a little deeper and work hard as all get out!! Here’s a challenge for you, I want you to think of your dream, it doesn’t matter what it is, I want you to literally start the second you have that opportunity and keep at it every single day, it might take a long time for something to come of it but it will happen, that’s where patience comes into play!! You can literally do anything you set your mind to, your mind is your only limitations in life, take that barrier off of your damn brain and take action!! I would also like for you to share this blog with someone that needs to be persistent, patient and needs to be dedicated!! It’ll help their life and your life!!

The Importance Of Goal Setting

It’s very important to set your dreams incredibly high and make smaller goals that’ll get you there! You can have a million-dollar dream but if you don’t have small goals that’ll get you to it, it’s worthless, goals are something that we can accomplish relatively easily and within a short amount of time, without dreams and goals we are nothing! Let’s say that you want to start a business or make a certain amount of money, your goals should be stepping stones that’ll lead you to build your business and or getting a certain amount of money! It will not be easy but it can be done! I want you to think of your dream and set goals that help you get closer to your dream, write them down every single day and work hard to accomplish them! You can do it, I believe in you!!

Is Meditating Worthless?!

Is meditating worthless? No! A few reasons why meditation is good for you and your health is meditation can you help you deal with stress and negative emotions! Multiple studies have shown that meditation can help reduce levels of depression and anxiety, along with helping people tolerate pain better! Meditation could boost positive skills like memory and awareness! Research shows that meditators have unique brains with well developed areas that might be connected to the mastery of awareness and emotional control! Meditating for years is associated with brain changes that help you get along with others! Buddhist monks and other long term meditation practitioners show much more developed brain regions associated with empathy, though the reasons for that are likely complex. Researchers have seen that meditation can also change brain waves, leading to higher levels of alpha brain waves which are generally associated with a state of wakeful relaxation. This can help reduce negative moods and feelings including anger, tension and sadness! Just weeks can change your brain with meditation!! Most of us don’t know how to meditate, including myself, I will list a few things to start with!

1: find a place to sit that feels calm and quiet to you.

2: set a time limit such as five to ten minutes.

3: make sure you’re stable and in a position that you can stay in for awhile.

4: follow the sensation of your breath as it goes in and as it goes out.

5: inevitably, your attention will leave the breath and wander to other places. When you get around to noticing that your mind has wandered in a few seconds, a minute, five minutes, simply return your attention to your breath.

6: don’t judge yourself or obsess over the content of the thoughts you find yourself lost in. Just come back.

7: you go away, you come back, and you try to do it as kindly as possible.

8: when you’re finished, slowly open your eyes. Take a moment and notice any sounds in the environment. Notice how your body feels right now. Notice your thoughts and emotions.

Meditation is a wonderful exercise for the mind and body. I want you try it for once!!

Fail, fail and fail again!

How many times have you failed at something? Now, how many times have you gotten back up and done it again? Have you succeeded in whatever you originally failed at? In life, we as humans are so scared to fail (myself included), we fear the humiliation that comes with failing, what we don’t realize though is that failing is good!! Failing might be scary and bad at first, however what we don’t realize is that once we fail, we can learn from that failure and try again, this time we can do it better and avoid the mistakes that made us fail, it can be hard to get back in the saddle but we have to if we want the reward! The rewards are often bigger than the failures and if we just set the fear aside and went for it again then we can have so much more than we can ever dream of. I want you to try something, do one thing that you’ve always wanted to do if you fail, try again and try until you succeed. Mark Cuban said “you only have to be right once to succeed” and that’s the damn truth!! Try something, fail, try again, fail, and try until you succeed, you’ll eventually succeed, I promise!! All you have to do is start!!

Loyalty

The meaning of loyalty is a strong feeling of support or allegiance! What does it mean to have loyalty? If you’re faithful and devoted to someone or something, you’re loyal! When you’re in a relationship and have your eyes and heart set on that person and that person only, then you’re loyal! If you’re chasing a dream and not going from dream to dream, then you’re loyal! You must be loyal to your dreams and your significant other and here’s why! Loyalty stands for commitment and dedication to another allowing respect and trust to flourish. Loyalty is important in both business and our personal lives. Loyalty is valuable because it allows us to take the risk of predicting the actions and behavior of people that we trust!! Here are a few ways to be more loyal (we all need to work on this) RIGHT OR WRONG, when someone that you’re loyal to is right or wrong, you always have their back no matter what, especially when there is called out about it! BE DOG LIKE! A dog has your back and is completely and utterly devoted to you to death due them part (my eyes totally got watery when I was writing this because I immediately thought of mine). No matter if you’re having a good day or a bad day, they show up every single freaking time, wagging their tail and excited to see you! THEY SHOW UP. THEY ARE CONSISTENT!! And they give their devotion to you day in and day out!! TREAT OTHERS LIKE YOU WOULD TREAT YOURSELF!! When you’re being loyal to someone, you put their needs above yours. So to be more loyal, simply treat the persons desires as your own!! LIKE A MOTHER!! We can become more loyal when we act to the people in our lives as a mother would act to their children. Selfless and compassionate. Always wanting the best for them. THINK BEFORE YOU ACT!! Act in a way that shows the utmost respect for the people you want to be loyal to. INCLUDE THEM!! We can be more loyal by including our friends in things, bring them around everywhere you go. Introduce them in a way that you would introduce yourself. Make them get in pictures they act like they don’t want to be in. Including someone in these types of acts makes them feel simply included (I’ve struggled with this and sometimes still do). And this builds a loyal relationship between you two as they know you have their back. BE LIKE A SOLDIER!! We are simply going to battle for our friendship. So act like a soldier with the people you are loyal to or want to be loyal to. You’re their soldier and they’re the country you’re trying to protect!!

Self Doubt

The meaning of self-doubt is the lack of confidence in oneself and one’s ability! Van Gogh is reported to have said this: “if you hear a voice sighing you say `you cannot paint,’ then by all mean pain, and that voice will be silenced”. Sometimes we get into a wrestling match with a voice in our heads that tell us that we cannot do something or we cannot become anything of worth that’s when we have to immediately block out that annoying voice and immediately do it so we can prove ourself wrong! In order to get past this so-called self-doubt, we must embrace doubt as part of being human, self-doubt is there to protect us from the humiliation that comes with failing and falling flat on your face. Dr. Kristen Neff says “don’t beat yourself up for beating yourself up”. We must befriend it; to acknowledge that it’s just trying to keep you safe and spare you humiliation. Embracing self-doubt as an intrinsic part of the human experience is crucial to taking back the freaking power it has held over you… until now!! You are a human, mistakes will happen, you will have doubts, push that shit aside and try anyways, you can learn from those failures and grow from it!! DOUBT YOUR DOUBTS!! Self-doubts are just your fears made manifest in order to protect you from loss. To paraphrase Shakespeare, doubt often makes you lose out on what you may have gained by fearing the attempt. Your doubts are not the truth! They’re fear-fueled stories that you create about who you’re, what you’re worth and what you’re capable of achieving. YOUR DOUBTS ARE NOT THE TRUTH!! The next time you start to doubt yourself, take a moment to challenge that thought; to doubt your doubts!! Ask yourself “what if just the opposite were true”? What if, in fact, you were more than prepared for a bigger role? If you had everything it takes to build that business? CALL OUT YOUR CRITIC!! Often we hear our doubts relayed through the voice of our inner critic. You know the one… it’s constantly pointing out your faults, questioning your worthiness, and urging you to play it safe!! You can’t permanently silence it, however, you can dilute its power by giving it a name. MAKE YOUR MISSION BIGGER THAN YOUR FEAR!! Only when you’re clear about your big “why” can you find the courage needed to step through your doubts and risk failing. You need to be able to find a clear and compelling answer to the question “for the sake of what am I willing to be brave”? Doing so will help you crystalize why you must take action despite your doubts, know that if you let them win, you will run the bigger risk of one day looking back and wondering “what if I’d tried”? Don’t let self-doubt leave you with regret when you’re on your way out of this world!! BUILD A TRIBE OF BELIEVERS!!? Surround yourself with people who bring out your best and embolden your thinking, you can do more, be more and give more than you ever could otherwise!! The people you hang out with will either fuel your self-doubt or fuel your confidence; so if you’re ready to make a change or take a chance, make sure you surround yourself with people who will help you to stay in action despite your doubts. Avoid those who don’t!! TRAIN THE BRAVE. DAILY!! The best way to “train the brave” is to start right where you’re right now with whatever problem or opportunity you are facing, and ask yourself “what would I do right now if I were brave”? Chances are your doubts will be screaming at you to do just the opposite. Thank them for trying to protect you, then tell them you’re not here to live a safe life, you’re here to live the biggest life you’re capable of living. Then put your hand on your heart, imagine your success, take a big long breath and then JUST DO IT!! Research has found that every time you take action in the presence of your doubts you dilute their power and amplify your own!! “Only when you dare to do the very thing you doubt you can do, will you realize how little you ever needed to doubt yourself, to begin with”. Never ever doubt yourself! It’s the number one killer of dreams and success!!
